Traditional Demodex treatments use Tea-Tree Oil. This can be harsh to some patients' sensitive lids. Zocular uses a different approach which both suppresses Demodex and also reduces the associated inflammation. We have been using Zolcular in-clinic for both blepharitis treatment (all forms) as well as maintenance as it is such a gentle product.
